"Her"Predicament and Solution:Exploring the Career Development of Young Female Teachers in Higher Vocational Colleges——Analysis Based on A Sample of 342 Teachers from 4 Higher Vocational Colleges in X Province
Young female teachers are an important part of the teacher group and the vanguard of high-quality development of higher vocational colleges and universities.Focusing on the dilemmas and solutions in the career development of this group,through targeted questionnaires and in-depth interviews,we have analyzed the current situation of her career development and found that due to the anxiety of input and output at the early stage of her career,the external expectation of family division of labor and child rearing,and the new requirements brought by the new development of higher vocational education."Her career development has been caught in different degrees of difficulties,including the nesting of the initial stage of the workplace and the overlapping of the key stages of the family life cycle,the double pressure of teaching competence and high-quality scientific research output,the contradiction between the requirements of corporate practice and the pursuit of individual stability,the difficulty in solving the dilemma of making money through work and taking care of the family and raising children,as well as the lack of a sustained and effective social support system for career development.In this regard,it is suggested to help the career development of young female teachers in higher vocational colleges by building a diversified career development platform,constructing a systematic social support system,awakening the internal driving force of career development,and cultivating action.
