The integration and development of vocational education with private economy is an inevitable choice for achieving high-quality economic development in China, driven by the practical demand for supplying talents skilled in new technologies, and an inherent requirement for the high-quality development of vocational education.Focusing on Zhejiang Province as the research area, the integration of vocational education with private economy faces practical challenges such as inadequate social awareness and government policy support, lack of motivation for private sector involvement in vocational education, and insufficient depth of integration between vocational education and the private economy.Starting from the significance of integrating vocational education with the private economy,it is proposed that the government should enhance policy support to create a favorable environment for this integration.Vocational colleges should strengthen their capabilities and foster a shared community of fate with the private economy in vocational education integration.Private enterprises should assume social responsibility and establish long-term mechanisms for the integration of vocational education with the private economy. These practical approaches aim to provide insights for promoting high-quality integration and development of vocational education with the private economy.
