Designing Value-added Assessment of Vocational Education Students'Perspectives——Based on the Perspective of Value-added Assessment and Rational Regression
Value-added assessment quantitatively evaluates the net impact of education on students'academic achievement over a certain period, reflecting an evaluation based on the students'status as the subject and embodying the intrinsic value of assessment. In practice,value-added assessment is more commonly used for school and teacher evaluations.By analyzing the differences in value brought by teacher-oriented and student-oriented value-added assessment, this paper proposes that value-added assessment should achieve dual regression of value and rationality:focusing on students as the primary subject of evaluation;adhering to instrumental rationality, where value-added assessment is only used in measurable, precisely calculable,or accurately describable academic areas. From the perspective of the value of value-added assessment and theoretical regression, this paper outlines the design rationale for value-added assessment of vocational education students'perspectives, covering purposes, content, subjects, indicator systems, mathematical models, data platforms, application effects, etc.
