"Shaping Career with the Soul of Educator":The Value,Challenges and Practical Directions of Incorporating the Unique Spirit of Educators into the Professional Development of Higher Vocational College Teachers
The unique spirit of Chinese educators contains profound implications for vocational education,possessing the value of nurturing professional beliefs,professional knowledge and skills,professional service spirit,and self-professional development awareness among higher vocational college teachers.However,due to risks such as limited professional development orientation,diminished motivation,inefficient interaction,and identity dysregulation,integrating the unique spirit of Chinese educators into the professional development of higher vocational college teachers faces practical challenges.We should rely on the soul of belief in the unique spirit of Chinese educators to consolidate the pursuit of professional development for higher vocational college teachers,the soul of intelligence to cultivate their professional development literacy,the soul of achievement to refine their professional service quality,and the soul of cohesion to unleash their self-development potential,thereby enhancing the quality of professional development for higher vocational college teachers.
