The state has explicitly stated through laws and regulations that"vocational education is an educational type with equal importance to general education".The unified Chinese textbooks for vocational school are compiled based on the type of education,with the following features:based on the characteristics of vocational education,a comprehensive design of teaching modules is made to highlight the educational orientation of vocational education;the textbook system is innovatively designed with dual lines of organization to construct thematic elements,which highlight the educational features of vocational education;core competencies are centered on,and classic texts are carefully selected to deepen the educational connotation of vocational education;the task design is sequentially progressive to strengthen the educational goals of vocational education;and the special features of the profession are integrated to create diverse linguistic activities to enhance the practical effect of vocational education.
