Improve the Contact Mode and Contact Stress of Helical Gear Group Based on Tooth Tip Modification Analysis
The purpose of this study is to analyze the meshing characteristics of a single stage helical gear group and improve its distribution of contact stress.Firstly,establish a mathematical model of a helical gear pair with linear tooth tips.Tooth tip modification and tooth orientation modification are methods of gear tooth modification developed on the basis of gear transmission theory.And the distribution of contact stress was obtained using finite element analysis and KissSoft prediction methods to verify the influence of gear tooth modification on contact stress during gear meshing process.
