Design and Failure Analysis of Tapered Roller Bearing for TBM Disc Cutter
The tapered roller bearing for TBM disc cutter plays a key role in tunnel excavation engineering,serving as a core component in rock breaking operations.However,due to its dependency on imports,the bearing is expensive and has a long supply cycle.Addressing this issue,the LYKJ749X22 bearing is developed.This bearing features a small-angle outer ring raceway design,significantly enhancing its fatigue resistance,stiffness,and deformation resistance,while exhibiting excellent adial load-bearing capabilities.To ensure the bearing is not easily damaged under impact loads,the inner and outer rings are designed with a hard surface and a soft core,utilizing carburized steel with alloy elements such as chromium,nickel,and molybdenum.Structurally,aiming to reduce surface pressure and distribute it evenly,a convexity design is adopted,and the optimal convexity combination is determined through finite element analysis.Additionally,this paper analyzes the situation of bearing seal and its lubrication、failure etc.,proposing corresponding countermeasures.These research findings provide valuable references for the design,manufacture,and application of tapered roller bearing for TBM disc cutter.
