Objective To understand the status of infectious disease reporting management in Pidu District,and to provide the scientific basis for further standardize the reporting and management of infectious disease.Methods During May to July 2023,a full-scale survey was conducted on medical institutions which were included in the Information System for Disease Prevention and Control of China in Pidu District of Chengdu,and the relevant data were summarized and analyzed by using Excel 2010 and SPSS 23.0,the difference P＜0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results The reporting rate of infectious diseases was 99.63％and the timely rate of report was 98.51％in the medical institutions of Pidu District of Chengdu from May 2022 to April 2023.which was higher than the 95.00％national targets.The reporting quality of infectious diseases in the region was good,but there were still problems of late reporting and underreporting,with 52.94％of the institutions had late reporting and underreporting.The type of hospital,personnel allocation,reporting work and hospital information construction will affect the reporting quality of infectious diseases,the specific performance was that the level of medical institutions was low,volume of outpatient was less,the number of staff was up to standard,long working years,higher titles,higher frequency of self-examination and the reporting rate and timeliness rate of medical institutions with full coverage of trainning was higher;The more training the higher the rate of timely report;The timely interconnection rate between HIS and PACS/LIS was higher.Conclusions There are large proportion of comprehensive medical institutions with a large number of outpatient clinics in Pidu District of Chengdu,and most of the medical institutions have low staffing,key daily work such as self-inspection and training is just a formality and not implement as requrired,lag of information construction and so on;In the future,we should give priority guidance in the above aspects,urge the medical institutions to rectify and put into place as soon as possible,and gradually improve the quality of reporting and management of infectious diseases in the whole region.
