Objective In order to master the base number,classification and distribution of non-medical radiation work units in Meishan,to understand the status of prevention and management and occupational health management of radioactive personnel,to monitor the radiation level of radioactive hazard factors in the workplace,so as to protect the occupational health of staff of non-medical radiation units.Methods The basic information of all non-medical radiation work units within the jurisdiction of Meishan was investigated,and according to the results of investigation,different types of enterprises were selected to detect radiation levels of X and y;The WPS Excel software was used to process data and the descriptive analysis method was used for data analysis.Results In 2022,about 26 non-medical radiation work units were investigated in Meishan,involving 6 types of occupational irradiation,324 source items(stations),and 154 radiation workers.Except the staffs of package detector unit,the personal dose monitoring rate reached 100.00％,the radiation protection training rate for radiological workers was 93.59％,and the rate of radioactive occupational health examination was 94.80％,and the configuration rate of the device for dose alarm and the protective equipment of the detector for personal was 66.67％and 58.33％.Employees of package detector unit were not managed in accordance with radiation staff.In 2022,Meishan city tested the radiation levels in the workplaces of 14 non-medical institutions,and the test results all met the corresponding standards.Conclusions The non-medical radiation work units in Meishan City involve many categories,sources and personnel,the radiation protection management of radioactive workers is insufficient;Meishan City shall continue to effectively carry out the corresponding investigation and on-site radiation level detection,and the health supervision institutions shall strengthen the supervision of non-medical radiation institutions,the occupational health management level of non-medical radiation should be improved,and the occupational health rights and interests of the relevant medical radiation workers should be protect.
