Objective To investigate the patterns of tinnitus incidence based on the doctrine of Five Evolutive Pha-ses and Six Climatic Factors.Methods The collected data from 7971 patients with tinnitus in both outpatient and inpa-tient departments at the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The patients'birth dates were then converted into information regarding the Five Evolutive Phases and Six Climatic Factors,which were sub-sequently subjected to statistical analysis.Results The highest incidence of tinnitus was in the Huoyun Buji,the highest main transport time was in the Jinyun Buji,the highest main qi time was in the Yangming Zaojin time,and the highest Sitian-Zaiquan time was in the Yangming Zaojin time-Shaoyin Shitu time.Conclusion The incidence of tinnitus can be in-fluenced by five distinct evolutionary phases and six climatic factors.among which"Huoyun Buji","Jinyun Buji"and"Yangming Zaojin"are most closely related to the incidence of tinnitus.
