Random confrontation on the clinical research of auricular-plaster therapy combined with esculin and digitalisglycosides eye drops on asthenopia in liver and kidney deficiency syndrome
Objective To observe the curative effect of traditional Chinese and western medicine in auricular-plaster therapy combined with esculin and digitalisglycosides eye drops on asthenopia in liver and kidney deficiency syndrome.Methods Fifty-six patients with visual fatigue were enrolled in the ophthalmology clinic of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou University of TCM.They were randomly divided into an experimental group and two control groups.They were treated with auricular-plaster therapy combined with esculin and digitalisglycosides eye drops,auricular-plaster therapy and esculin and digitalisglycosides eye drops.The treatment courses lasted 10 days as a full course.Symptom score,duration of photopic vision and total effective rate were observed.Results ①The most significant reduction in inte-gral was observed in the experimental group,There is a statistically significant difference(P=0.004),②The duration of photopic vision:The experimental group was the best,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.011),③The clinical effects:the total responsive rate of experimental group was 94.11％、77.78％、76.47％,The experimental group was the best,and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.009).Conclusion Both methods are effective for trea-ting asthenopia,but the combined effect is better than its single effect.
