Objective To compare the application of different needles in the treatment of ear tip bleeding in ophthal-mology.Methods 70 nurses in the ophthalmology outpatient department of 15 hospitals were selected to investigate and compare the experience and the risk of needle injury during ear tip bloodletting therapy with different needles.Results Compared with the other four groups,the disposable peripheral blood sampling device(safety lock card type)was found to be more convenient and simple to operate,better to handle the needle after use and to grasp the depth of acupuncture.The proportion of needle stab injury occurred in the course of treatment with needle was the lowest.Conclusion The dis-posable peripheral blood collection device(safety lock card type)can not only meet the treatment needs,but also be more simple to operate,and can more effectively reduce the incidence of needle-stick injury in nurses,so as to ensure the occu-pational safety of nurses.
