Objective To explore the new ideas of identification and medication of radiological oral mucositis.Meth-ods Taking Pharynx xuanfu theory as an entry point,we analyzed its connotation,especially its etiology,pathogenesis and characteristics of medication,combined with the pathogenesis of radiation oral mucositis,and explored the identifica-tion ideas and characteristics of medication for radiation oral mucositis based on Pharynx xuanfu theory through the analy-sis of cases.Results The pathogenesis of radiation oral mucositis focuses on"heat,stasis and toxicity",resulting in"de-pression and closure of Xuanfu",and the treatment is based on the principle of opening up Xuanfu,and the drugs are used according to the characteristics of different stages of the pathogenesis,which can achieve good clinical efficacy.Conclusion Taking the theory of Pharynx xuanfu as a guide,the identification of different stages of radiological oral mucositis and the use of medicines can expand the ideas and methods for the treatment of radiological oral mucositis in traditional Chinese medicine.
