Objective This study aims to investigate the pathogenesis of epistaxis patients based on the doctrine of Five Evolutive Phases and Six Climatic Factors in Huangdi Neijing.Methods A total of 3710 epistaxis patients'data were collected from the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The patients'birth dates were calculated,and statistical analysis was conducted on the information regarding Five Evolutive Phases and Six Climatic Factors.Results The information of Five evolutive phases and six climatic factors in patients with epistaxis was as follows:the zhu'yun were Jinyun Buji and the main qi was Yangming Zaojin.Conclusion The constitution of patients can be influenced by the Five evolutive phases and six climatic factors,with a higher likelihood of epistaxis occurrence in individuals whose constitution is determined by their birth date's alignment with the Five evolutive phases and six climatic factors.
