This article presents details of China's import and export of TCM materials and prepared TCM slices in 2023,including major markets,key products and the main import and export regions.Data show that the import and export of TCM materials and prepared TCM slices have maintained strong vitality,achieving good results for the whole year.It proposes that with the steady increase in imports of TCM materials and prepared TCM slices,the trade surplus gradually narrows,and draws the conclusion that making full use of overseas plant resources to supplement domestic demand has become an effective path of interaction with the overseas TCM material industry.The article points out that in the future,the Chinese raw TCM materials and prepared TCM slices industry should actively expand its"circle of friends",continuously improve product quality and industrial management,pay attention to"bring in"while"going out",and create a"localized"industrial chain,so as to promote the high-quality development of the industry.
