Objective:To establish a rapid and non-destructive method for the determination of honey-processed Asteris Radix et Rhizoma by near-infrared(NIR)spectroscopy and chemometrics,so as to realize the rapid and non-destructive determination of moisture content in honey-processed Asteris Radix et Rhizoma. Methods:The NIR spectra of honey-processed Asteris Radix et Rhizoma were collected, and principal component analysis(PCA)and systematic cluster analysis(HCA)were performed to establish the NIR unsupervised model of honey-processed Asteris Radix et Rhizoma and to verify the sensitivity of NIR spectra. The moisture content measured by the method in2020 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia was the true value, and the partial least squares(PLS)model of the moisture content in honey-processed Asteris Radix et Rhizoma was constructed with the preprocessed NIR spectra. Results:A total of 23 batches of honey-processed Asteris Radix et Rhizoma can be effectively identified by the NIR unsupervised model, and the results are accurate and reliable. The established PLS model for moisture content in honey-processed Asteris Radix et Rhizoma has an r of 0.856 6,a root mean square error of calibration of 0.357 4,a root mean square error of cross-validation of 0.427 6,a mean relative error of 3.92%,and an average recovery rate of 98.9%,indicating that the model has good prediction performance. Conclusion:NIR spectroscopy can be used to determine the moisture content in honey-processed Asteris Radix et Rhizoma rapidly.
