Correlation between Traits and Intrinsic Quality of Peucedanum praeruptorum Based on Theory of"Quality Evaluation Through Morphological Identification"
Objective:To explore the correlation between appearance traits and the intrinsic quality of Peucedanum praeruptorum based on the theory of"quality evaluation through morphological identification".Methods:A stereomicroscope was used to measure the proportion of the xylem in P.praeruptorum;a colorimeter was used to collect chromaticity values;high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was used to determine the content of praeruptorin A and praeruptorin B;and the correlation between appearance trait and the content of active ingredients was analyzed. Results:Praeruptorin A showed a significant negative correlation with the red green color value, indicating that the lower the red green color value, the higher the content of praeruptorin A;the content of praeruptorin A had a highly significant positive correlation with the content of praeruptorin B.Conclusion:Appearance trait indicators can be used as a basis for judging the quality of P.praeruptorum according to the theory of"quality evaluation through morphological identification".The research results provide a reference for establishing an objective and scientific quality evaluation method for P.praeruptorum.
