Status and influencing factors of knowledge-attitude-practice and self-efficacy of cardiopulmonary resuscitation among medical staff in Guizhou province
Objective To investigate the current status of cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)knowledge,atti-tude,practice(KAP)and self-efficacy among medical personnel in Guizhou province,and analyze the influen-cing factors,providing reference for enhancing medical personnel's emergency response ability.Methods Using snowball sampling method and objective sampling method,1 198 medical personnel in Guizhou province were se-lected for a self-designed online survey.Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 29.0 and Amos 24.0.Results The CPR KAP and self-efficacy scores of medical staff in Guizhou Province were 91.8%,95.1%,93.4%and 86.2%,respectively,among which the automated external defibrillator(AED)score was the lowest.Positive correlation was observed among knowledge,attitude,practice and self-efficacy(P<0.01).Path analysis re-vealed that age,hospital level,personal health status,familiarity with AED,prior CPR experience,participation in CPR training,education level,professional title and AED usage directly influenced knowledge.Education lev-el and knowledge directly impacted attitude;Attitude and self-efficacy directly influenced practice;Hospital lev-el,prior CPR experience,AED usage,gender and knowledge directly affected self-efficacy(P<0.05).Conclusion The level of CPR KAP and self-efficacy of medical staff in Guizhou Province is relatively high,while the AED training needs to be strengthened.The influencing factors of KAP and self-efficacy are multifaceted,and it is recommended to provide targeted training and retraining.So as to comprehensively enhance the medical personnel's CPR KAP and self-efficacy,and to further improve the comprehensive first-aid ability.
