Research progress in analgesia after total hip arthroplasty
With the advent of the aging society and the progress in the field of surgical anesthesia, total hip ar-throplasty(THA),a kind of surgery for end-stage hip diseases, has been carried out more and more frequently due to its remarkable efficacy. Now it has been proved to effectively improve the quality of life for patients.How-ever,most THA patients suffer from moderate to severe pain, which is not conducive to patients'functional exer-cise after surgery, and some even develop into chronic pain, which seriously affects patients'rehabilitation.Current analgesia methods include regional nerve blocks, intraspinal analgesia, local infiltration analgesia and o-ral or intravenous injection of analgesics. In recent years, with the aid of ultrasound visualization tools, regional anesthesia technology has made great progress. This paper reviews the current analgesic methods and related indi-cators of rapid rehabilitation in THA,in order to further explore the best analgesic scheme to promote the im-provement of medical quality.
