Advances in the crosstalk between m6A methylation modification and non-coding RNAs in non-small cell lung cancer
Lung cancer is the most common cancer and one of the leading causes of cancer-related death world-wide,with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)accounting for the majority, comprising approximately 85% of cases. The N6-methyladenosine (m6A)modification is an epigenetic alteration of RNA that plays a crucial role in the progression and prognosis of various diseases, particularly tumors. The involvement of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs),such as microRNAs(miRNA),long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs),and circular RNAs(circR-NAs),has been implicated in the processes of tumorigenesis, metastasis, and other associated malignant pheno-types.This review provides a comprehensive overview of the interplay between m6A and ncRNAs,elucidating their intricate interactions that hold potential for novel insights into the clinical diagnosis and treatment of NSCLC.
