Study on Myelodysplastic Syndrome Based on Nutrient-Defense Theory
To explore the relationship between nutrient-defense and the pathogenesis of myelodysplastic syndrome(MDS),and employ nutrient-defense theory to treat MDS.MDS is mainly caused by"deficiency,toxin and stasis"and has the characteristic of deficiency in root and excess in superficiality.This theory emphasizes the combination of blood stasis and pathogenic toxin based on original innate or body deficiency.If nutrient and defense are in disorder,and yin and yang are not in balance,the blood and essence will be in deficiency,and bone marrow will be derived of generation source,or qi and blood will not circulate smoothly,and static blood will stay in the bone marrow,resulting in MDS.Disorder of nutrient and defense is MDS internal mechanism,and regulating the relationship between nutrient and defense is the key to the prevention and treatment of MDS.
