Review on the Mechanism of Electroacupuncture in the Treatment of Migraine
Migraine is a common clinical disease of the nervous system, electroacupuncture treatment has good clinical efficacy, but its mechanism of action has not been explained clearly. This paper has summarized the relevant literature in the past ten years, and found that the mechanism of electroacupuncture treatment of migraine is mainly the improvement of intracranial blood flow, regulating the level of vasoactive peptides(CGRP,SP,5-HT),regulating inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-α,IL-1β,and regulating the release of endogenous cannabinoid receptors and their catabolic enzymes. At present, however, the conclusions of most studies are limited to the existing indicators. Therefore, the study needs to be further perfected and enriched, and it is a new research direction to further explore the mechanism of intestinal microbiota-gut-brain axis regulation.
