Gouty arthritis(GA)is a kind of pathological injury and inflammatory response disease caused by metabolic disorders,which is mainly treated by drugs.Among them,Chinese medicine has achieved remarkable curative effect in GA clinical treatment,with good curative effect and few adverse reactions.By collecting literatures related to GA at home and abroad,this paper reviewed the studies on the mechanism of TCM treatment of GA,and found that the mechanism of TCM treatment of GA is closely related to reducing uric acid level,intervening in inflammatory factors,regulating apoptosis and mitochondrial autophagy,inhibiting oxidative stress and balancing intestinal flora.Traditional Chinese medicine oral administration and external application are commonly used in clinical practice to treat GA,and the combination of multiple treatment methods has a better therapeutic effect.
