Professor SONG Liqun's Experience in Treating Intractable Nephrotic Syndrome with"Three Factor Adaptation"Approach
Intractable nephrotic syndrome is a form of nephrotic syndrome characterized by hormone resistance and ineffectiveness,with features of repeated flare-ups,prolonged course,and poor prognosis.Professor SONG Liqun has applied traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in treating the disease.In clinical practice,he combines the cold and dry climate environment of Heilongjiang Province,the different weather and solar terms,and the different age and physical constitution to diagnose and treat the disease based on syndrome differentiation.He believes that patients with refractory nephrotic syndrome in Heilongjiang region often have the characteristics of spleen and kidney deficiency and blood stasis.Based on the"Three Factor Adaptation"approach,Professor SONG's treatment for this syndrome has shown remarkable clinical efficacy.
