Study on Microstructures and Tensile Properties of ZTA15 Cast Titanium Alloy at Different Temperatures
This paper taking ZTA15 cast titanium alloy as the research object, the tensile properties including strength and plasticity under different tensile temperatures were analyzed, and its metallographic structure and tensile fracture morphology were observed. The results show that the strength of ZTA15 cast titanium alloy single cast plate specimen decreases gradually with the increase of tensile temperature, and the plasticity increases first and then decreases. The internal metallographic structure of ZTA 15 cast titanium alloy is widmanstatten structure and intragranular structure α phase is lamellar. The tensile fracture of ZTA15 cast titanium alloy is a mixed fracture of intergranular fracture and transgranular fracture. The stronger the plasticity, the higher the proportion of transgranular fracture and the more obvious the characteristics of dimples. Most of the tensile dimples are atypical long strip dimples, which is preliminarily speculated to be related to the lamellar structure in the metallographic structure α related. The intergranular fracture surface is also atypical smooth crystal sugar like intergranular fracture, and many long strip-shaped dimples are distributed, which is also similar to the lamellar grain boundary in the metallographic structure α related.
