The typical problems of valve housing castings are analyzed in this paper,the causes of core instability and insufficient core bone stiffness in the molding process were found.A new design method of double core bone is provided.Through the combination of various measures such as lower core standard core,closing and checking box,and reverse deformation,the problem of drift core of valve housing castings is solved,to improve product quality and yield.
