The inspiratory characteristics and porosity formation mechanism of Monel alloy are introduced.The influence of melting process on porosity of Monel alloy castings is analyzed.In view of the key points and difficulties in the manufacturing process of Monel alloy castings,the corresponding preventive measures were taken to improve the casting process and melting process,and the porosity problem of Monel alloy castings was solved.
