Analysis and Preventive Measures of Casting Defects in Diesel Engine Exhaust Pipes
The casting process and common casting defects of exhaust pipe of diesel engine are introduced,and the causes of defects such as porosity,sand hole and cold insulation are analyzed.In order to reduce the incidence of casting defects and improve the casting quality,the corresponding preventive measures for porosity,sand hole,sand clamping and cold insulation are put forward.After the measures were taken,the incidence of defects in exhaust pipe castings was reduced from 13.3%to 2.03%,and the casting quality was significantly improved.
