Characteristics and Analysis of Pinhole and Segregation Defects in Al-Mg Alloy Castings
The types,formation mechanisms and safe use risks of loose and segregation defects in Al-Mg alloy castings were systematically analyzed.The micro-morphology of loose and segregation structures in different degrees of castings were observed by X-ray and electron microscope scanning,and the influence of various types of defects on product performance was evaluated by combining mechanical properties and chemical composition detection data.The determination methods for the safe use of loose and segregation defects in aluminum-magnesium alloy castings are pointed out to provide reference for product testing and quality assurance.
