Analysis and Improvement of Slag Hole Defects on the Surface of Heavy Section Machine Tool Tray Castings
Taking thick and large section machine tool tray castings as an example,the causes of the surface slag hole defects of castings in the production process were analyzed and expounded.By optimizing the design of pouring system and adopting appropriate coatings,the defects of slag hole were solved,the appearance quality of castings was improved,and the technical requirements of customers were met.
