Through sorting out the main business and intellectual property of technology-based enterprises in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,we identified the 336 enterprises within the strategic emerging industries.Based on the longitude and latitude of these enterprises,we measured its distance.This paper used the do index theory of industrial clusters to conduct an empirical analysis of industrial space through the Matlab and Arcgis.We analyzed the establishment time and place of enterprises in given industries,compared the resources such as universities and scientific research institutions in industrial cluster cities,and summarized the spatiotemporal evolution mechanism and characteristics of strategic emerging industries in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.Strategic emerging industries started from related traditional competitive industries and developed in the improvement of urban business environment.The strategic emerging industries were thriving because of"assist talents from other provinces",but the local universities had relatively weak support for the talent cultivation.Urumqi is strengthening its industrial clusters based on its talent advantages at present,making it difficult for other cities to obtain Urumqi's industrial spillovers.Finally,we provide the suggestions:strengthen the synergy of strategic emerging industries in the"One Circle,One Belt,One Group",optimize the spatial distribution of cross city industrial chain,enhance the collaborative ability of industrial spatial innovation,and strengthen the talent service system in autonomous region cities.
