A Historical Study on the Commendation Work for Martyrs in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region
During the period of the War of Resistance against Japan and the Liberation War,the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region actively carried out the commendation work for martyrs,which not only embodied the humanitarian spirit of the Party and the government but also demonstrated the national morality.The regional government,through the formulation of commendation policies,establishment of commendation institutions,and organization of various forms of commemorative activities,aimed to safeguard the rights of martyrs and ensure the livelihood of their families.Furthermore,by promoting the glorious deeds and heroic spirit of martyrs,it aimed to educate the revolutionary masses and the revolutionary forces.These efforts not only united people's hearts and mobilized social forces but also stimulated patriotic sentiments and revolutionary consciousness,and promoted national morality,which held significant significance during the revolutionary war period.
