Agricultural collectivization is the development direction of agricultural economy in the early days of the People's Republic of China.In the process of collectivization,the party newspaper media played an impor-tant role in mobilizing public opinion on the propaganda and reporting of production models,among which Henan Daily's report on farms in Yellow River flooding area was the most typical.By reporting on the bum-per harvest,mechanized production mode,advanced production technology and efficient organization mode of farms in the Yellow River flooded area,Henan Daily expanded the influence of farms and inspired farmers to move towards collectivized production.
