摘要
近年来,蒙娜·贝克的叙事理论在新闻和政治文本翻译中的应用越来越引起关注.《习近平谈治国理政》(第四卷)英译本是政治文本翻译的典范.文章结合叙事理论,从时空建构、标示式建构、文本素材的选择性采用、人物事件的再定位四个方面详细探讨了叙事建构策略在《习近平谈治国理政》(第四卷)翻译过程中的应用和体现.
Abstract
In recent years,the application of Mona Baker's narrative theory in the translation of news and political texts has attracted more and more attention.The English translation of Xi Jinping:The Governance of Chi-na IV is a good example of political text translation.Based on the narrative theory,this paper discusses the application and embodiment of the narrative framing strategies in the translation process of Xi Jinping:The Governance of China IV from four aspects,including temporal and spatial framing,framing by label-ling,selective appropriation of textual material,and repositioning of participants.
