Effects of Rheology Modifiers on Coating Preparation and White Board Paper Properties
In a paint formula,the combination of pigments,various additives,and adhesives does not have an optimization effect.Therefore,a rheology modifier needs to be added to the paint preparation to make the paint formula have better rheology.The rheology of coatings has a significant impact on the transportation,filtration,and processing of coatings.Coatings with poor rheological properties are prone to rheological problems such as rheological scratches and scraper contamination.In the experiment,while the amounts of other raw materials in the topcoat formula remained unchanged,the relevant data of different amounts of rheology modifiers on coating preparation and the impact on the performance of white cardboard were observed.The results show that the optimal dosage of rheology modifier obtained experimentally can not only maintain good rheology of the coating,but also achieve the purpose of preparing coatings with high solid content and low viscosity.
