Research Progress of Shape Memory Alloys and Their Applications
The research progress of the general shape memory alloys,the high temperature shape memory alloys,the magnetic shape memory alloys and the hybrid shape memory alloys were reviewed.The characteristics and application efficacy of shape memory alloys were analyzed.The applications of shape memory alloys in automotive,aerospace,robotics and biomedical fields were introduced.The developing directions of shape memory alloys were pointed out.The research emphasis and the problems need to solve further in this research field were put forward.
