The design of cutting mechanism for a plasma cutting machine
This article mainly discussed the application of plasma cutting for the cutting process in the stainless steel plate. Based on the analysis of the weakness and strong point for the current cutting method, the significance of the application of the plasma cutting in this field was stated, a whole structure for a plasma cutting machine was designed and the cutting process was introduced in detail. Meanwhile, the cutting mechanism was further discussed in this article. A economic and applicable structure was put forward through the analysis of the function and motion, the comparison of different schemes and the design calculation for the key parts. The mechanism can meet the production demand perfectly with single structure and convenient adjustment.
