Saving energy,reducing the carbon dioxide emission is now the development trend of times and the future.The paper industry is one of several key industries of China's carbon emission,and it is incumbent on our country's carbon neutralization strategic goal to carry on the responsibility.In this regard,the paper considers the development of paper industry under the goal of carbon neutrality,briefly describes the carbon emission status and carbon emission reduction potential of China's paper industry,analyzes many opportunities and challenges facing the green and sustainable development of regional paper industry under the perspective of carbon neutrality,and puts forward an effective path to promote the green and sustainable development of paper industry.It is possible to formulate low-carbon development plans for the regional paper industry,innovate energy saving and carbon reduction technologies,promote the coordinated development of regional industries,and optimize local government behaviors to speed up the green development of the regional paper industry and strive to promote carbon neutrality goals.
