With the expansion of the scale of higher education and the increase of the number of graduates year by year,the problem of difficult employment of college students has been widely concerned by the society.Colleges and universities should accelerate the optimization and reform of talent cultivation mechanism guided by employment and entrepreneurship.In this regard,taking the major of light chemical industry as an example,this paper analyzes the current problems and main causes of talent cultivation,employment and entrepreneurship in light chemical industry,explores the necessity and practical significance of improving the employment and entrepreneurship ability of students in this major,optimizes the talent cultivation mechanism in multiple dimensions and improves the quality of employment and entrepreneurship,and further proposes targeted countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problems in talent cultivation.For example,strengthen the comprehensive and systematic employment guidance education,build an employment and entrepreneurship platform,and create an optimized external environment for talent cultivation,so as to better train light chemical talents who meet the needs of society and have the core competitiveness of employment and entrepreneurship.
