乙酸气体对图书档案纸张性能的影响

图书档案管理工作中,工作人员需要对大量的纸质档案进行妥善保存.但是,环境中的乙酸气体等会对纸张性能产生一定的不良影响,需要积极分析和应对.选择以常见的图书档案纸张为材料,通过实验的方式,研究乙酸气体对纸张不同性能的影响效果.结果显示,乙酸气体对纸张具有一定的破坏作用,随着纸张在乙酸中暴露时间的不断延长,机制纸和手工纸的抗张指数、耐折度、pH值、亮度均会呈现出不断下降的变化趋势,进而降低了纸张的性能,影响到纸质文献的耐久性和保存寿命.针对上述情况,相关人员需要做好保存环境的科学管理,以妥善保存各种纸质档案,延长其保存寿命.
Abstract
In the management of book archives,it is necessary to properly preserve a large number of paper archives.However,the presence of acetic acid gas in the environment can have a certain negative impact on the performance of paper,which requires active analysis and response.The article selects common book archive paper as the material and studies the effect of acetic acid gas on different properties of paper through experimental methods.The results showed that acetic acid gas has a certain destructive effect on paper.As the exposure time of paper in acetic acid continues to extend,the tensile index,folding resistance,pH value,and brightness of machine made paper and handmade paper will show a decreasing trend,thereby reducing the performance of paper and affecting the durability and storage life of paper literature.In response to the above situation,scientific management of the preservation environment is also necessary to properly preserve various paper archives and extend their preservation life.
