The sustainable development potential of the paper industry is mainly evaluated through ESG indicators.The implementation of the ESG system can effectively enhance the management ability of enterprises and promote their sustainable development.In this regard,the potential for sustainable development of the papermaking industry has been evaluated and optimized from three aspects:environment,society,and governance.In terms of the environment,enterprises need to improve resource utilization and reduce environmental burden through technological innovation.At the social level,enterprises need to care about the treatment and safety of their employees,strengthen management,and achieve comprehensive human rights protection.In terms of governance,enterprises need to establish transparent rules and regulations to achieve fairness and impartiality in decision-making.By upgrading equipment,innovating technology,and optimizing management systems,the sustainable development potential of the paper industry can be unleashed,ultimately achieving healthy,stable,and sustainable development of society.
