Plastic fixtures are increasingly widely used in the protection of paper cultural relics. However,plastic materials may have a certain negative impact on the safety of paper cultural relics during long-term use. This article analyzes the main problems in the use of plastic equipment for the protection of paper cultural relics,and combines the key factors for long-term protection of paper cultural relics to explore the safety of plastic equipment use. Corresponding safety measures and suggestions are proposed to provide reference for the protection of paper cultural relics.
