With the intelligent transformation and development of the paper industry,the demand for intelligent manufacturing talents continues to rise. This paper briefly describes the new demand for intelligent manufacturing talents for the paper making industry. In view of the shortcomings of the current intelligent manufacturing talent training in infrastructure equipment,school-enterprise cooperation mechanism,government functions and other aspects,the exploration and practice of intelligent manufacturing talent training mode for the paper making industry are carried out:Innovate the school-enterprise cooperation mechanism to provide talent guarantee for the revitalization and development of local industries with local characteristics;Cooperate with internal and external artisan spirit training to enhance the professional ability of talents;The function of local government should be returned to the position,and the system guarantee,material guarantee and service guarantee for the training of talents in characteristic industries should be brought into play.
