Simulation study on flow characteristics of hydraulic punching coal water pipeline transportation
In order to realize the efficient pipeline transportation of coal-water mixture discharged through hydraulic punching in bottom extraction roadways, the pipeline transportation simulation model of coal-water mixture was constructed based on computational fluid dy-namics.The influence of transportation conditions such as inlet flow velocity, coal particle size and transportation pipe diameter on the flow characteristics of coal water mixture pipeline transportation was solved and analyzed. The results show that the coal particle deposi-tion is easy to occur when the inlet flow velocity is low. With the increase of coal particle size, the volume concentration distribution of coal particle phase at the outlet section has a trend of gradually diffusing to the bottom of the pipeline, and the distribution center of maximum flow velocity moves upward in the outlet section of the pipeline. At the same time,as the diameter of the transportation pipe increases, the stratification phenomenon of the coal particle phase becomes more obvious, and the volume concentration near the bottom of the pipeline increases significantly. This provides a basis for the operation parameter regulation and equipment selection of efficient long-distance pipeline transportation of coal-water mixture discharged by hydraulic punching in bottom extraction roadways.
