Research progress and function mechanism of selective water plugging agent in oil wells
With the development of water drive development in oil fields,high water content in oil wells is a common problem faced by oil fields in the later stage.Aiming at the management problem of high water content in oil wells,the selective water plugging agents widely studied and applied in oil wells were analyzed and investigated.It can be divided into polymer type water plugging agent,foam and thick-ening oil water plugging agent,expansion type water plugging agent,emulsified asphalt water plugging agent and nano emulsion water plug-ging agent.The composition of 5 kinds of selective plugging agents was introduced,the indoor research situation of water plugging agent and the practical application effect of oil fields were summarized,and the function mechanism of 5 kinds of selective plugging agents was analyzed in detail.It mainly includes adsorption,trapping and plugging mechanism,Jamin effect,swelling,bridging and bonding plugging.The reservoir conditions applicable to each type of water plugging agent were compared,and the development trend of water plugging agent was prospected,so as to provide reference and help for the research theory and application of selective water plugging in oil fields.
