Study on adding screening and crushing facilities to CFB boiler coal transport system
The company required qualified coal-fired circulating fluidized bed boiler(0 to 8 mm)in the original design provided direct-ly by the nearby coal preparation plant after screening and crushing,since the commissioning of the company's 2 ×660 MW unit,due to insufficient coal production and excessive coal particle size in the power supply plant of the supporting coal preparation plant,at the same time,the power plant coordinated the transfer of coal transported by steam from the surrounding open-pit mines,and the particle size of coal transported by steam exceeded the standard severely,causing frequent coking of the boiler,blockage of the slag outlet,and in severe cases,shutdown accidents.To strictly control the particle size of coal entering the furnace,improve the stability and economy of e-quipment operation,in view of the problem of coal particle size exceeding the standard,the power plant proposed to add screening and crushing facilities in the plant,due to no reservation made during the power plant design phase,there was no suitable site for the con-struction of screening and crushing system.The expert group conducted a survey of the production plant area and proposed two feasible solutions in the article.After analysis and demonstration,an innovative solution was ultimately chosen to dig deep underground at trans-fer station 1 and constructed a compact screening and crushing building using methods such as large inclination belts,which effectively solved the problem of insufficient construction space and improved the particle size of coal entering the furnace.It provides reference and basis for the reconstruction of new crushing facilities in the same type power plants.
