Numerical simulation research and application of water injection in difficult to wet coal seams of Xinqiao Coal Mine
In order to improve the water injection effect of the difficult to wet coal seam in the fully-mechanized mining face of Xinqiao Coal Mine,the coal seam water injection model of the fully-mechanized mining face of Xinqiao Coal Mine was established based on the porous media theory.The water injection process of the fully-mechanized mining face was simulated by Fluent software,and the change law of the wet half diameter of the coal body under different water injection pressures and the distribution of water pressure and velocity in the coal body were obtained,and the field coal seam water injection application test was carried out.The numerical simulation results show that the wetting radius of coal increases with the increase of water injection pressure.When the water injection pressure is 6 MPa,the wetting radius reaches 2.39 m,and when the water injection pressure is 7 MPa and 8 MPa,the wetting radius is 2.45 m and 2.48 m,respectively.Compared with the wetting radius increment under 6 MPa water injection pressure,the wetting radius increment is not significant.The on-site test results show that when the water injection pressure of the working face is 6,7,and 8 MPa,the wetting radius of the coal seam is 2.34,2.42,and 2.47 m,respectively.The on-site water injection test results are consistent with the numerical simu-lation results.The test results of coal seam water injection dust reduction efficiency show that after water injection,the dust concentra-tion of the shearer in the state of cutting coal against the wind and cutting coal along the wind is significantly reduced.The optimal dust reduction efficiency after coal seam water injection reaches 60.09%and 58.27%,respectively,achieving good dust reduction effects.
