Analysis of unconventional gas geological characteristics of Permian System Longtan Formation coal measure strata in Chongqing area
In order to explore the unconventional gas geological characteristics of Permian System Longtan Formation coal measure strata in Chongqing area,based on geological data and test data obtained from coal field exploration and coal seam(series)gas exploration in the area,the basic characteristics of Permian System Longtan Formation coal measure strata coal reservoirs,dark shale reservoirs,and dense sandstone reservoirs were analyzed and summarized.Research has shown that the coal reservoirs in the area have characteristics of coal body structure mainly consisting of fragmented to blocky structures,moderate burial depth,undeveloped pores,low porosity and low permeability,and high gas content.Dark shale reservoirs have the characteristics of low brittleness,thin single-layer thickness,undevel-oped pores,low porosity and permeability,and average gas content.The tight sandstone reservoir has a thin single-layer thickness,unde-veloped pores,low porosity and permeability,and general gas bearing properties.If combined development is considered,it has certain development prospects.
