Application of cluster directional well technology in exploring the range of collapsed columns
A collapsed column develops in the east of the fourth mining area of Jinqiao Coal Mine.In order to further explore the devel-opment form and scope of the collapsed column,optimize the mining area design,and eliminate the hidden danger of water damage caused by Ordovician limestone water entering the mine through the collapsed column,the ground cluster directional well drilling tech-nology(1 main hole,4 branch holes)was used to probe the development range of the collapsed column.Through the comprehensive a-nalysis and determination of drilling core,rock cuttings logging and digital logging data,the development range of the collapsed column was proved.The long axis of the collapsed column was about 68 m,the short axis was about 47 m,and the area was about 0.002 55 km2,which was reduced by 0.003 93 km2 compared with the three-dimensional seismic exploration range.In order to verify the reliabili-ty of ground cluster directional well exploration,seven downhole verification holes were constructed,and a total of 590 m of drilling work was completed.According to the drilling data,the exploration range of both was basically the same,and the accuracy of the ground clus-ter directional well exploration technology reached the meter level.The results show that the ground cluster directional well technology can realize the accurate exploration of the development range of the small collapsed column,and provides an effective means to explore the scope of the collapsed column.
