为抑制甲烷预混空气爆炸产生的超压和火焰传播,采用自制100 mm × 100 mm × 1 000 mm管道,在同一位置放置固定挡板,对甲烷浓度为7.5%、9.5%和11.5%的爆炸特性和传播规律进行实验研究.通过分析固定挡板对不同浓度甲烷爆炸的影响,研究甲烷/空气爆炸后的超压和火焰传播特性,以及两者之间的多重耦合作用,为解释固定挡板对甲烷/空气预混爆炸的封堵和抑制机理提供数据支持.研究表明,固定挡板对爆炸超压和火焰传播速度有显著的影响.固定挡板能加速不同浓度甲烷/空气预混气体爆炸火焰空间结构变化,对火焰传播速度有明显抑制作用,可阻止高温含碳物质传播,约束甲烷爆炸范围,同时固定挡板能降低挡板右端超压峰值.研究结果对甲烷爆炸事故的预防和应急处理具有理论价值和指导意义.
Experimental study on methane explosion suppression under fixed baffle constraint condition
In order to suppress the overpressure and flame propagation caused by the explosion of premixed methane-air explosion,a self-made 100 mm × 100 mm × 1 000 mm pipeline was used,and fixed baffles were placed at the same position to experimentally study the explosion characteristics and propagation laws of methane concentrations of 7.5%,9.5%,and 11.5%.By analyzing the effects of fixed baffles on explosions of different concentrations of methane,the overpressure and flame propagation characteristics after methane/air explosion and the multiple coupling effects between the two were studied.It provided data support for explaining the blocking and suppression mechanism of the fixed baffle on the methane/air premix explosion.Studies shows that fixed baffles have a significant effect on explosion overpressure and flame propagation speed.The fixed baffles can accelerate the structure change of the explosion flame of methane/air premixed gas.It has obvious inhibitory effect on flame propagation speed,prevents the spread of high-temperature carbon containing substances,and restricts the range of methane explosion.Simultaneously fixing the baffle can reduce the peak overpressure at the right end of the baffle.The results have theoretical value and guiding significance for the prevention and emergency treatment of methane explosion accidents.
